ABOUT Master of Program in Tourism Development COURSE

Tourism is one of the essential tools in strategic development of Thailand. It has become the number one industry in generating income throughout the country in the last decades, resulting in direct and indirect economic contributions. As such, it produces manpower to support the industry and many more have been entering this industry extensively. This fast growing industry has turned Thai tourism into a mass tourism arena. These dynamics linked to a challenge in tourism manpower. Manpower infrastructure has been constructed unpreparedly. This has caused ineffective workforce in the industry. Properly trained individuals such as tourism developers, travel destination administrators, and in-depth-knowledge-entrepreneurs have become inadequate. The School of Tourism Development foresees this challenge for which we have developed the Master’ degree program in Tourism Development aiming to produce graduates who are capable of managing travel destinations wisely and professionally.
